Hala Palestine was born under blockade. It wasn’t easy. We didn’t launch
Hala Palestine was born under blockade. It wasn’t easy. We didn’t launch with investors or flashy marketing. We launched with one idea: Palestinians deserve to live and create in dignity, and the world should be able to support them directly.
We are not just a brand. We are a mission. A mission to build an economic bridge between Palestinians under siege and people around the world who want to help but don’t know how.
But building this mission under occupation isn’t simple. Every item you see on our site came through a maze of Israeli checkpoints, customs harassment, power outages, and economic strangulation. We’ve had shipments returned. Producers raided. Families displaced.
And in June 2024, a shipment of our goods—valued at over $15,000—was stolen at an Israeli checkpoint simply because it included kufiyehs. That wasn’t a mistake. That was a message: they want to erase our culture.
And yet, we are still here.
Because we believe in something bigger. We believe that every kufiyeh that lands in Detroit or Chicago or New York is not just a scarf—it’s a message. A statement. A refusal to let our story be erased.
We’re asking you to join us—not just as customers, but as allies. Whether you’re Palestinian, Arab, or an ally from anywhere in the world, we need you in this movement.
Our mission is to create jobs, protect craft, and open the gates of Palestine to the world. Despite the limits. Despite the siege. Despite the silence.
Together, we turn obstacles into bridges. Together, we build under occupation.
